Ford Mustang Cobra Jet Concept
In order to stay ahead of competition, Ford Racing has decided to innovate in the car using new technologies. During the past four years the success of Cobra Jet was based on their supercharged engines: the 5.4-liter V8 began a series that ended with the 5.0-liter V8 used in 2011.
The system provides greater power supercharger instanstaneamente but high acceleration to decrease its efficiency. To avoid this it was decided to install a twin-turbo system that uses thermal and kinetic energy of the exhaust to increase engine power. To avoid the biggest problem with the turbocharged, the lag (time lag between pressing the accelerator and when you can see the pressure increase in the feed), were installed smaller turbos possible, able to give the flow necessary.

Zenvo ST 1 50S
Zenvo announced they have dedicated 3 of the 15 ST-1 models to create a very special edition for the North American market. It’s called the Zenvo ST-1 50S.
Dubbed as 50S, it will be powered by a supercharged 7.0-liter V8 engine that produces 1250 hp (932 kW / 1267 PS) and 1500 Nm (1106 lb-ft) of torque. Further, the engine is paired to a seven-speed transmission which enables the car to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in less than 3.0 seconds and hit a limited top speed of 375 km/h (233 mph).
The trio will also get special individual monogrammed seats, lightweight magnesium wheels, and an exclusive complimentary Swiss made ‘Aspen Zenvo’ watch worth $49,000.
Other features include the choice of three colours – one for each car – including Intense Red, Crystal White and Mediterranean Blue, magnesium wheels and a special edition plaque signed by the engineers and owners.

ZENVO ST-1 NORTH AMERICAN SPECIAL EDITION ANNOUNCEMENT JUNE 2011
Zenvo Automotive and Red Sea Distribution today have announced that they will be offering a North American Special Edition of the Mighty Zenvo ST-1.
The Zenvo ST-1 is the creation of Denmarks first Supercar manufacturer Zenvo Automotive.
The Zenvo ST-1 with a limited run of 15 units produces 1104hp and 1430NM of torque, 0-100kmh in 3.0 seconds with a LIMITED top speed of 375kmh. With gear changes taken care of by a 6 speed manual transmission or an optional F1 paddle shift 7 speed transmissions. The power plant for the Zenvo ST-1 is Zenvos own design 7ltr supercharged and turbo charged V8 (NOT TO BE MISTAKEN FOR AN OFF THE SHELF V8).
Many years of testing commenced before the launch of the production cars in 2010. Jesper Jensen, co-owner and founder of Zenvo Automotive can be quoted as saying " We never set out to create the most reliable supercar, but it seems now that we have!

It is certainly one of the longest lists I found today in a vehicle that makes its standard equipment. If there is a manufacturer who can justify their high prices for excellent quality and a level of equipment, is Infiniti. Although it is true that is similar rivals such as Lexus IS-F itself, a product that has become a star for the Japanese manufacturer, and is sweeping international markets.
For now, the big Infiniti are concerning their products unmatched by rivals, but seeing the evolution of Asian luxury brands are leading in recent months, we can ensure that by 2013 the dispute will be much higher. BMW VISION
Frankfurts auto show shaping up as its greenest, most wired ever--and BMWs new concept coupe is leading the charge. MotorAuthority has reported for weeks on the Vision EfficientDynamics concept in the works for the 2009 Frankfurt auto show. Rumors placed the car as a coupe, then a four-door, then a little unbelievably as a three-cylinder hybrid. Almost all of the leaked details have turned out to be true, as BMW confirms the details of the new concept set for a world debut at the 2009 Frankfurt auto show. At its core, the Vision EfficientDynamics concept is a sportscar in the BMW vein, with promised M-car performance levels. Its the drivetrains that are the shockers: this particular vision sees a future BMW sportscar sporting a three-cylinder diesel plug-in hybrid powertrain. Its a tour de force--at least in concept, since no automaker has yet produced a diesel hybrid, or a mass-market plug-in hybrid, not to mention a combination of the two. BMW Vision EfficientDynamics: Greener Than Thou With the new Vision concept, BMW isnt simply keeping pace with the Chevy Volts, Prius plug-ins and Peugeot diesel hybrid concepts floated by those automakers. Its a trump card that marries all those technologies into a single halo car that could lead the way to lighter, more efficient, more dramatically styled BMW coupes of the future. It could also be the engineering equivalent of conjecture. Theres so much going on beneath its body, its difficult to imagine all the green-car technologies knitted together in harmony. Its hard to write them in a single sentence without running on, even. Theres a direct-injection, 1.5-liter, 163-hp, three-cylinder turbodiesel, two electric motors (one per axle), a set of lithium-ion batteries, and a software controller that modulates and marries both powertrains to a combined total of 356 horsepower and 590 pound-feet of torque. The EfficientDynamics concept uses all three in tandem or selectively. Using only the diesel engines power, a six-speed dual-clutch transmission sends power to the rear wheels. The hybrid powertrain is actually two distinct applications, a "conventional" hybrid system applied to the rear wheels and a hybrid motor hooked to the front wheels. The rear-wheel hybrid system operates in tandem with the diesel engine, while the front system operates on battery power alone. As such, BMW says the Vision EfficientDynamics could provide all-wheel drive in electric-only mode, with battery power twisting its front and rear axles simultaneously. The EfficientDynamics concepts performance is geared to convince Bimmerphiles that green and clean doesnt mean thin power and willowy handling. BMW claims a 155-mph top speed and a 0-60 mph time of less than 4.8 seconds, while providing fuel economy of almost 63 mpg, and for European enthusiasts, CO2 emissions of 99 grams per kilometer. Because its also a plug-in hybrid, those controversial CO2 emissions could be halved to 50 grams per kilometer, if the Vision EfficientDynamics were juiced up with electricity and driven on battery power alone. The plug-in technology used means the concept car would use a standard 220-volt household outlet to recharge its batteries. A 2.5-hour recharge time is predicted, though on a 380-volt line, BMW says a 44-minute full recharge is possible. Driving range could pass 400 miles with fuel or 31 miles on electricity
alone, BMW also adds.

How to Replace the Oxygen Sensor on a BMW 740i
1. Pop the hood of your 740i and locate the rear exhaust manifold (found on the rear of the engine). The oxygen sensor will be sticking off of the back of the manifold with a wire running to it.
2. Disconnect the wiring harness and use the oxygen sensor wrench to unscrew the sensor and remove it. Screw the new oxygen sensor into place.
3. Reconnect the wiring harness to the oxygen sensor and then close the hood. Turn the car on and allow it to warm up to normal operating temperature. Check to make sure the car is running smoothly and then take it for a test drive.
